Beautiful building, comfortable room a most enjoyable stay wasn't there long enough to use the pool although it looked lovely, Very friendly staff.
The food was average, we had cajun salmon with no cajun spice. Breakfast was not value for money.
Lounge apartment a bit small
The accommodation was superb, and the supplies of cloths and dishwasher tabs, toiletries and tea/coffee was much appreciated. We felt it was set in beautiful grounds and the local wildlife (peacocks and squirrels) were an unexpected added bonus.
surroundings very nice countyside peacocks bit noisy but part of the attraction kids loved swimming table tennis etc and the farm up the road who also own farm shop on site
The room facilities exceeded expectations set by the price.
The food offer was surprisingly pedestrian / downmarket; although the quality was good
The bed was very comfortable, the first time I have sleeped well in a hotel
Waiting at reception for ten minutes as the receptionist was on the phone
liked all of stay
refill tea coffe milk in room daily. this is for people like us who do not use catering facilitys.
Very comfotable and the staff where very helpful.
Very well appointed suites, good sized rooms and comfotable. Nice location, easy parking.
Receptionist booked us into a room closed for decorating. Took about 45 mins and 3 more attempts to find a free room. No appology or gesture made.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The lodge was superbly equipped, especially the kitchen. Lovely swimming pool.
We were surprised that, although we had assumed that we had booked for 2 adults and 2 children, the hotel had us down for 4 adults and so the kids had to share a. sofabed in the lounge. We hadn't expected this.
The second time we have stayed in this hotel. We love the fact that it is in the middle of no where, so relaxing and has good facilities. There are local pubs near by and a close town village.
The restaurant menu was limited - we chose to eat out.
pleasant reception staff
room near main road and noisy so left day early. as they wanted to charge us another £75 for alternative room. bar and restaurant no atmosphere, they held bingo and games which I would not have expected in a country club hotel!
a nice complex a bit off the beaten track but with very good facilities ,staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Rooms are more like houses, very large chalet type units and very well equipped. Facilities are excellent.
Children not allowed in Jacuzzi and steam room, location is in middle of nowhere which is both good and bad
